Districts of Vienna

Vienna has 23 districts. The oldest is the first district (Innere Stadt). Here lie Vienna’s roots. The largest is the 22nd (Donaustadt), where Vienna’s national park Lobau is located. Both the 22nd and the 21st districts (Floridsdorf) are on the left side of the Danube. The 2nd (Leopoldstadt) and the 20th (Brigittenau) are surrounded by the Danube and the Danube Canal.
